SIR, - Following a successful year at our Spencer Street Internet Café, St Albans District Café Net, trading as Computer Friendly, has moved into the Fleetville Community Centre.
Taster and drop-in sessions are now available on Mondays at Fleetville Community Centre in Royal Road (opposite Morrisons supermarket). Contact our manager Maxine on 07833 598 449 for further details.
In the last 12 months we have trained more than 800 residents in how to use a computer, access the internet and write and send e-mails on our evening courses in local schools.
I would like to thank our dedicated team of volunteers who have trained more than 4,000 learners since we started some five years ago. We look forward to welcoming new learners and those who have benefited from our training at the Fleetville Community Centre.
MELVYN TEARE,
Chairman of Trustees, St Albans District Cafe Net.
