SIR, - Further to the previous correspondence on the big increase in charges at the new multi-storey car park at City Station, I have recently moved to St Albans from Milton Keynes and the rise in fees hasn't really hit me as hard as the others here.
Parking at Milton Keynes Station is £7 a day so on the occasions when I do park at St Albans, I still have a whopping £1.20 left over to almost buy oneself a coffee - the price of which, for what is simply a spoon of coffee and water, is just as inflated.
