SIR, - Well done to St Albans District Council for giving the refuse tender to Enterprise. I live in a flat in Cotlandswick, London Colney. We never had a problem with our refuse collection until Enterprise took over. All our wheeled bins have not been emptied for over two weeks. There is no more room to put rubbish in these bins. As you can imagine they are starting to smell.
After contacting the council on two occasions, they promised to have it sorted. Well you can guess, our bins are still overflowing. This is also a health hazard as I am sure this will attract all sorts of vermin. Well done to the district council for handing out a tender to a company which obviously cannot do the job.
LINDA VALKASS,
Cotlandswick, London Colney.
