SIR, - With reference to Cllr Mike Ellis's comment (Herts Advertiser, October 2) about statistics proving that there was no significant congestion caused by the displacement of traffic when St Peters Street, St Albans, was closed, perhaps he would like to share these statistics and how they were gathered with your readers. We can then make up our own fanciful interpretation of them to fit our own views.
