SIR, - Re your story that scores of pupils are still without a secondary school place of their choice (Herts Advertiser, April 17). My son was the only pupil in his class at Maple School not to receive any of his ranked choices. We were offered Francis Bacon, but declined. Currently we are on both the waiting list and appeals for three schools in the area
