SIR - I wonder why, for the second year running, our cathedral city has been without floral hanging baskets or tubs?
Driving along St Peters Street, the main street through St Albans, it must win the prize for Britain's drabbest city.
Visit any of our neighbouring towns and villages and they have wonderful displays. Come on St Albans, if you want to attract more visitors then, be attractive yourself.
