SIR, - I'm writing a letter of support for Anne Main as being a wonderful MP for St Albans. She is very efficient, very approachable and gets thing done. I believe she is very strong too.

I contacted Anne for the first time a while ago when I was in a desperate situation, asked for support and was I surprised when I recieved a letter from her the next day - she acted straight away! Anne has a wonderful combination of being intelligent, strong, decisive and feminine at the same time. I strongly believe that the party leaders had their reasons to deselect Anne after the storm had passed and I hope that Anne Main will stay as MP despite this situation. It only shows that she is a good mother after all to allow her daughter to stay with her part-time.
