SIR, - It is ironic that in the edition of your newspaper (Herts Advertiser, June 5) featuring an editorial plus several stories and letters about the short-comings of Supporta Care, they confirm that they are under-staffed by having an advert in your jobs' section.
This advert does not give the impression of a professional organisation. No address, web address or fixed-line telephone number is mentioned - the only contact given is a mobile number. The public is generally well-advised to be wary of advertisers who only give a mobile number.
The Supporta advert is in stark contrast to the professionally-presented adverts of two other care providers looking for staff.
