SIR - I would like to see the stop at the Nunnery in Cottonmill Lane moved back nearer Cottonmill Crescent (the nuns don't use this stop now) as many elderly people in my road find this stop too far away to walk and are tempted to use cars or taxis.
For example, if I get a bus from Chequer Street, the first stop is the Nunnery, about a mile, and the next stop is Mentmore Road, only a short distance of about 200 yards, the stop which most people use and where all the houses are.
Moving this stop would enable many disabled and elderly people to use the buses (such as myself) rather than alternative transport. Hoping you can do something about this.
