SIR - In 1959 within the Further Education programme offered by Harpenden Evening Institute, I was given the opportunity to form a Medau Rhythmic Movement class for ladies on Tuesday evenings at Manland Secondary School.
The autumn of 2009 marked the 50th anniversary of Medau Movement in Harpenden but unfortunately I was indisposed and the occasion passed without recognition.
I should like to express my gratitude and thanks to the many ladies who have attended my Medau and Keep Fit Gently classes throughout the years, enabling me to enjoy their talented company and sharing the pleasures of music, movement and dance.
I continue to teach those like me who are enjoying "Movement for Life."
