SIR, — The day centre at the Jubilee Centre in St Albans is a lifeline for my disabled son. The staff are brilliant. A city the size of St Albans should have a centre of its own. Travelling to Hemel Hempstead etc is not an option for many. The centre is a
SIR, - The day centre at the Jubilee Centre in St Albans is a lifeline for my disabled son. The staff are brilliant. A city the size of St Albans should have a centre of its own. Travelling to Hemel Hempstead etc is not an option for many. The centre is and has been for many years suitable and to say it is not is an excuse. The real reason is to save money and Herts County Council think the vulnerable are not likely to complain.Well we are.
