SIR, - It was very disappointing to hear about the missed recycling collections experienced by Mr Kevin Atkins. We are working with our contractor Enterprise to resolve missed collections as quickly as possible so the bin collectors can get used to the new schedules.
It would be helpful to hear direct from Mr Atkins and I urge him to call Client Services on telephone number 01727 819285. I can then make arrangements for a waste management officer to call and investigate the issues raised.
Regarding the micro-chipping of wheeled bins, the Council has decided that the bins will not be chipped.
