SIR, - In answer to the "Forest questions" posed by Mr R. Hill (Herts Advertiser letters, September 25), it would seem that he was not paying close attention at the Wheathampstead meeting where all his concerns were clearly dealt with. It was also made clear that some decisions cannot be made until certain environmental consultations are complete.
He does seem to be getting into an awful bother about the cost. I can't think why. He doesn't have to pay anything towards it and yet he will be free to visit and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of of woodland right on his doorstep. That is the whole point of the Woodland Trust. He is a very lucky fellow that so many of us are happy to contribute to this refreshing project for the future of his generation and those to come.
