SIR, - I have heard a rumour that the long awaited/dreaded black wheeled bins are now being distributed in the St Albans area.

However, there is one thing which is troubling me. As far as I am aware, no one has as yet said what we are to do with our existing, and now redundant, dustbins. Will St Albans District Council take them away for us, or are we expected to take them to the council tip - or what?
