Notice is hereby given that the: Commercial & Development Department, St Albans City and District Council, in respect of premises known as: St Albans Museum + Gallery, Town Hall, St Peter’s Street, St Albans, ALI 3DH has applied to St Albans City and District Council for the grant of a Premises License.
The Proposed application is: To allow the St Albans Museum + Gallery, a Grade II* Listed Building, to be used by members of the public for museum, cultural, heritage, educational, social events, and activities as follows: • Plays (indoor and outdoor), Films (indoor), live music (indoor and outdoor), recorded music (indoor and outdoor), dance performances (indoor and outdoor), entertainment similar to live/recorded music or performances of dance, and supply of alcohol (on and off the premises) from 08:00 - 00:30 on Monday to Wednesdays, 08:00 - 01:00 on Thursday to Saturdays, and 08:00 - 23:30 on Sundays. • Late night refreshments (indoor and outdoor) from 23:00 -00:30 on Monday to Wednesdays, 23:00 - 01:00 on Thursday to Saturdays, and 23:00 to 23:30 on Sundays. The hours the premises will be open to the public are 08:00 -01:00 on Monday to Wednesdays, 08:00 - 01:30 on Thursday to Saturdays, and 08:00 - 00:00 on Sundays. Where Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve falls on a Sunday or where Sunday falls before a Bank Holiday Monday, finish time on a Sunday will be 01.00. Any representation by an interested party or responsible authority regarding the above mentioned application must be received in writing by Licensing Section, St Albans City and District Council, Civic Centre, St Peters Street, St Albans, Herts, AL1 3JE no later than 28/08/18 stating the grounds for objection. The register of St Albans City and District Council and the record of the application may be inspected at the address of the council, given above, Mondays-Thursdays 8.45am-5.00pm and Fridays 8.45am-4.30pm. Alternatively it can be reviewed on the internet www.stalbans.gov.uk It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application. Such an offence is punishable on summary conviction by a fine of any amount.
