SIR, - While walking with my dog around Batchwood Golf Course we came across a camera thrown into the hedge of the exit road. The silver digital camera appears to be in full working order and contains many photographs, principally of a small child playing in a children's indoor play area, a family occasion with grandparents dressed as blue-and-yellow clowns and a trip to Germany.

These are probably someone's treasured memories that have gone astray. If you have had your camera stolen/lost in the Batchwood area then the camera can be retrieved from St Albans police station where it has been handed in.
