Archant

Last month the Herts Ad reported on a mum from Harpenden who was making waves in the world of bikini modelling - now she is being flown of to Las Vegas to represent the UK in next week’s Mr Olympia Fitness & Performance Weekend competition in Las Vegas.

Jennie Bliss, 37, said she was “amazed” to be selected to represent her country after a dozen stage appearances and two rounds of competition at the UKBFF (UK Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation) finals.

She said: “It was so much fun – a really good day. It was a long day, because I had to go on stage between 12 and 15 times. I had a cracking headache by the end of it. But I ended up winning both my categories.”

Jennie is flying to Las Vegas on Tuesday (15) where she will be competing for a $2,000 cash prize - something she says “makes it a bit more interesting”.
