The full line-up of events for this year’s Meraki has now been announced, with less than a month to go before the festival hits Herts County Showground.
The programme covers all three days of the festival, from August 10-12, with details of activities taking place on different stages, and in designated tents and fields.
The Friday night sees Gabrielle (6.45pm), Nik Kershaw (8.15pm) and All Saints (10pm) on the Main Stage, with the House of Neon dance tent hosting Danny Rampling (7pm) and Judge Jules (8.30pm).
On the Saturday, it’s the turn of Morcheeba (6.30pm), Pixie Lott (8.15pm) and Meraki All-Stars (9.30pm) to entertain crowds from the Main Stage, whereas Freemasons (6pm), Seb Fontaine (8.30pm) and Tall Paul (10pm) will be pumping out banging tunes from the dance tent.
Wrapping up the weekend on Sunday night is 10CC (9.15pm) on the main stage and George Kafetzis (7.30pm) in the House of Neon.
As well as the main acts appearing at Meraki, there are plenty of other live performers throughout the weekend, including Hope Russell-Winter, Electric Umbrella, Laura Evans, August Child and Scarlette Fever. Many of these come from the St Albans area, so make sure to support our local talent!
There are various activities and attractions taking place throughout the weekend, all included within the ticket price, including laser tag, hot tubs, a waterslide, caving, roller disco, dodgems and the big wheel.
The Hideaway adults-only field is new for 2018, and throughout the weekend features yoga sessions, massages, various DJ sets and a silent disco, with glitter and glow face painting at Mally’s Gin Bar.
If you’re pitching a tent for the weekend, there’s plenty happening on the campsite, including kids yoga, facepainting and glitter, baby bathtime and campsite stories, and the Big Top will be hosting film screenings for a variety of ages, plus circus shows and workshops.
