A rising football star from Harpenden has impressed on her England debut, after starring for Lionesses Schools U15 team on Saturday.

Annabelle Tang played in the 6-0 win over Wales U16 Schoolgirls, and set up the fourth goal with an inch-perfect pass to Sophia Burton.

Her love for football started from a young age, and she was scouted by Arsenal at the age of just six. Now 14, she is still with the Gunners and could be a star of the future in the women's game.

"Football is my passion and I am delighted to have been selected for the ESFA U15s schoolgirls team to take part in the international matches," Annabelle said.

"Women's football is becoming more popular and right now opportunities like this for young players are only possible due to the active support of sponsors so my appreciation goes to Taylor Walton Solicitors for supporting me on my football journey," she continued.

Emily Waddell, from Taylor Walton Solicitors, added: "We are delighted to support our local rising superstar Annabelle who dedicates so much of her time to the sport she loves, as well as keeping up with her school studies.
