It was a memorable day for one Old Albanian Saints player as she reached a superb milestone.

Chloe Allcorn ran out for what was her 250th game for the club as Saints played Richmond in Women's Championship One South.

She arrived at Woollams as a 16-year-old in 2002 and has also represented England Lions and the county in rugby league in what is already a stellar career.

And the now 37-year-old, playing at number eight, helped Saints record a 29-19 victory to stay top of the pile, two points ahead of Thurrock in second and now eight above Richmond who have a game in hand.

Their next match is away to Henley on Sunday.

Albanian's senior men didn't have such a good day 24 hours earlier as they were beaten 59-17 on home turf by Esher in National Two East.

Kennedy Sylvester Jnr, Bailey Thomas and Stanley Giani got the OA tries with Harrison Legg adding a conversion.

The visitors, and league leaders, managed nine tires though, seven of them converted, to stay top.

Albanian are eighth with a home game against Guernsey on Saturday.

In Regional One South East, Harpenden scored a 62-32 success against Bedford Athletic to stay fourth.

They too got nine tries in total, Dominic Ashwell scoring four of them and Barnaby Merrett and Declan Murphy two each.

Jonathan Ward got the other with Oliver Mann kicking seven conversions and a penalty.

They go to Rochford Hundred on Saturday.

There were no positive results in Counties Two Herts Middlesex as both Tabard and St Albans lost.

Saints go to Sarries on Friday night with Tabard at league leaders Ealing Trailfinders 1871 one day later.

Tabard stay fourth after a 29-20 loss at home to Saracens Amateurs while St Albans had a tough afternoon, losing 73-5 at home to Brunel University.

Better news came in Counties Three though as Verulamians beat Watford 24-20 at Cotlandswick to stay top.

They host Stevenage Town on Saturday.
