Local artist and gallery programmer Elaine Johnson will be running a drop-in activity outside Trestle Arts Base in St Albans next Wednesday, May 14.

It will run from 10am-5pm and is part of Voluntary Arts Week during which people from all over the UK will be invited to take part in exhibitions, workshops and cultural activities.

Elaine will be leading ‘Craftbombing’ which involves decorating the trees surrounding the arts base in Russet Drive with brightly coloured ribbons and materials to create a piece of art.

The event is free to all ages and materials will be provided.
