‘A’ will be playing a very special one-off show at The Horn on Friday, June 8 as a warm-up to this year’s Download Festival at Donington Park.

And rock fans buying a ticket for the St Albans show stand a chance of being at Download on Sunday.

Suffolk rockers ‘A’ will be running a competition to attend Download as a guest of the band.

A spokesman for The Horn said: “If you already have a ticket for the show, you’re in the draw.

“If you’ve not booked yet, make sure you do soon as we don’t have many tickets left.”

‘A’ posted on their Facebook page: “We’ve decided to give away a pair of guest day tickets with parking for one lucky winner to come to Download Festival on Sunday 10th June and enjoy everything the day has on offer. Ace right!!?

“Here’s what you need to do to enter.

“Firstly, this is only open to ticket holders for this Friday’s (8th June) warm-up show at The Horn in St Albans.

“Everybody who has purchased a ticket will automatically be added to the draw, which will happen during the warm-up show on Friday.”

Ticket holders who share the band’s Facebook post will get an additional entry into the draw.

Support at The Horn on Friday night comes from Sun Arcana and Elswhere.

Tickets for the gig at the Victoria Street music venue cost £17.50 plus fees.
