Stand-up comedian, writer and director Stewart Lee will be bringing his latest show to St Albans next week.

Formerly half of double act Lee and Herring with Richard Herring, the star of Stewart Lee’s Comedy Vehicle brings his Content Provider show to The Alban Arena on Saturday, October 14 at 8pm.

After four years writing and performing his TV show Stewart Lee’s Comedy Vehicle, Content Provider is Stewart’s first brand new full-length show since the award-winning Carpet Remnant World.

Having built a reputation as an anti-populist comedian, Lee’s style often revolves around topical and observational humour.

His material often targets topics of race, feminism and other social subjects.

He is the co-writer of the highly successful – not to mention controversial – Jerry Springer: The Opera, and continues to write in publications such as The Sunday Times.

There are still a few tickets available for his St Albans show.

They cost £23, plus booking fees.

• Call The Alban Arena box office on 01727 844488 or book online at www.alban-arena.co.uk
