HARPENDEN Arts Club is holding its annual exhibition in the Southdown Room of the Public Halls from next Friday, November 16, to Sunday, November 18.

A large number of framed and unframed pictures in a range of different media will be on show together with some examples of computer artwork.

The exhibition will be open from 10am to 6pm on Friday and Saturday and from 10am to 4pm on Sunday. Admission is free.

The club welcomes new members of all abilities and non-artists with an interest in art. It meets from September until June on most Thursday evenings from 7.30pm to 9.30pm.

The current season’s programme includes presentations, slide lectures, workshops, demonstrations, a visit to the Mall Galleries in London and outdoor sketching in the summer months. Members also have an opportunity to submit work in the annual exhibition. Anyone interested in joining is asked to contact membership secretary, Peter Brown, on 01582 793174, go to the website or turn up at a meeting.
