The Harpenden Arts Club exhibition will feature media ranging from oils, acrylics and watercolours to fused glass, ceramics and digital art.

It is being held from 10am to 6pm next Friday and Saturday, November 11 and 12, and from 10am to 4pm on Sunday, November 13. Admission is free.

Sarah Poppleton, who is helping to organise the event, said: “We have quite a number of really excellent pieces of art being submitted for the exhibition from new artists, in addition to well known local artists, and I can’t wait to see them all on display.”

Harpenden Arts Club itself is going from strength to strength with increasing membership numbers and a diverse programme of artist demonstrations, studio practice, life drawing sessions and art technique workshops which are held from September to May.

For more information see here or phone the membership secretary Peter Brown on 01582 793174. Taster sessions are £3.
