Williams makes the cut at Italian Open

Lucy Williams has made the cut for the third round of the Italian Open.

The 24-year-old followed up a 71 (-1) in round one at Perugia with a 77 (+5) to finish four over par and book a spot in round three.

After recording a bogey and double bogey on the front nine in the first round, she carded two bogeys and a double in the second round. She was near faultless on the back nine in round one but dropped two shots this time round.

Williams tees off round three at 9am (Italian time).
