Stevenage striker Dipo Akinyemi has been recalled to the Lamex Stadium from his loan spell at St Albans City.

His last action in a City shirt came as a 75th-minute substitute last night (Tuesday) in the 1-0 FA Trophy defeat to Whitehawk at Clarence Park.

During his time at Saints he made 20 appearances in all competitions, 11 of which came off the bench.

He scored five goals with the last coming against Hungerford Town on November 12.

A spokesman for Stevenage FC said: “Dipo has been recalled from St Albans. We expect more news on another loan destination for him tomorrow.”
