Ben Herd has been named St Albans City’s player of the month for October.

It is the second consecutive prize for the right back after he claimed the Harpenden Construction Limited award in September.

He was given the trophy prior to Saturday’s game with Bognor Regis Town.

Doing the honours was Chantal Salvatore, owner of the Chantal Salvatore Hair Salon in Lower Luton Road, Harpenden, who was the October 2017 sponsor.

Also present were Cameron Paea and Flynn Cairns.

August’s award went to Shaun Lucien.
