ST Columba's College Prep Dept's Under 8s finished runners up in the National Prep Schools' Rugby Tournament held at Epsom College.

In what is regarded as the premier event in the school rugby calendar, the team won against Cumnor House in the quarter finals and Bristol GS in the semis, before losing out to Chinthurst, Surrey, in the final. Ed Lowe, Head of PE and Games, said: "This is a fantastic achievement to finish second in a national competition and a tribute to the hard work and commitment of the players and coaches."

St Columba's squad: Christopher Stevens, Rory Hextall, Jack Loveman, Padhraic Naughton, Max Sahota, Ned Robinson, Finlay Dearsly, James McCallum, Matthew O'Connor, Joseph Price.
