The Kinsbourne Green Lane-based club last won the trophy in 2000 but came perilously close to winning it.

Congratulations also went to Redbourn Titan who beat Hadley Wood in the Lexus Hatfield Junior Golf League.

Club manager Ian McDowell said: “We are lucky to have a healthy junior section with some talented players and reaching two county finals is a fantastic achievement that rounds off a year of excellent team and individual performances.

“Our juniors have done a great job out on the course and a big thank you also has to go to our junior organisers, led by Stuart and Chris, and to all of the parents who provide so much help and support to allow their kids to be involved.”
