Harpenden Ladies I played host to their local rivals Stevenage on Saturday and ran out 3-0 winners.

The attacking force of Skinner, Barton, Page and Watson won a short corner and a cleverly worked sequence led to Laura Pendleton thrashing the ball against the back board to give Harpenden the lead.

Great teamwork and individual skill put Harpenden further ahead with a goal from Watson early in the second half.

Harpenden added a third when Natalie Barton, having beaten the keeper, swiped the ball home to complete the scoring and seal the win.

The brain is an organ, and like any organ, it doesn’t always function to the medical standard of “normal”. Mine certainly doesn’t.
