Wheathampstead Wanderers U10 Sharks won the County Cup.


Wheathampstead Wanderers U10 Sharks topped an remarkable season by winning the County Cup against Cuffley Lions at the Herts FA County Ground on Sunday.

Sharks dominated the game but failed to score and after full-time it was still goalless so it went to penalties. In a nerve-wracking shootout, Sharks came from two down to win 4-3 on the seventh kick.

This is also the first time Wheathampstead Wanderers had won the County Cup across any age group in the club’s history.
