Tokyngton Manor 3 Harpenden Town 3

TWO second half goals denied Harpenden Town all three points from their trip to Tokyngton Manor.

The hosts opened the deadlock after 20 minutes when they took advantage of a defensive mix up to tap home.

The goal sparked Town into life and they equalised when Jimmy Warner beat his marker to head home James Ewington's cross.

Town made it 2-1 when Chris Gregory hit a close range volley that bobbled under the keeper.

The visitors were rampant and scored again from a corner when Jack Cartwright headed home.

The second half was a different story and Tokyngton reduced the deficit from the penalty spot after captain Saul was adjudged to have handled.

The home side equalised when Harpenden failed to clear their lines and a Manor midfielder fired home.

Both sides had chances to win the game but neither could find a winner..

Town: J Gregory, Shaw, Cartwright, Saul (c), Crabtree, Taaffe, Turkentine, Jeffrey, Ewington, C Gregory, Warner. Subs: Dawes, Tom, Chapman.
