London Colney Ladies put in a very good performance as they saw off their Hemel Hempstead counterparts in the County Cup.

Both sides battled hard, with Colney fortunate to go into half time 2-0 up.

Kelly Randall gave the visitors the lead, firing past the 'keeper and Suzi Reid doubled their lead.

Hemel Hempstead reduced the deficit two minutes after the break from the penalty spot and drew level fifteen minutes later.

Giselle Subryan thought she'd won the game five minutes from time when she headed home Randall's cross but it was ruled out for offside. She made amends two minutes later though when she latched onto Randall's pass and fired past the 'keeper to seal the win.

l Ladies Manager Ray Flanagan is looking for somebody to assist him in the running of the side. Anyone who is interested should contact Ray on 07885 181251.
