CHRIS Gregory scored to secure a valuable point for Harpenden Town in the Molten Spartan South Midlands League Division One on Tuesday.

Harps hosted Sport London e Benfica and went behind when Jamie Goncalo opened the scoring on 17 minutes. The Rothamsted Park outfit responded well and Gregory replied with a goal five minutes later to secure the 1-1 draw.

On Saturday, Harpenden had their match at Brache Sparta postponed. Harpenden go away to Bedford Town Reserves in a vital match as they battle to climb out of the bottom two in Division One.
