Molten Spartan South Midlands League Division Two

Markyate 5 Pitstone & Ivinghoe 2

Rohan Deroses scored twice to help Markyate pick up their eighth win of the season. Things started brightly for the home side when Damen Pickering scored after just three minutes. Deroses doubled Markyate's lead six minutes later when he fired home and The Yate made it 3-0 through Daniel Douglas with just 14 minutes on the clock.

The visitors pulled a goal back in the 25th minute but it didn't knock Markyate's confidence, as they continued to dominate after the break.

Two goals in a minute sealed the win for The Yate. Anthony Burnett's effort beat the visiting 'keeper on 60 minutes with Deroses scoring his second just moments later. Pitstone scored a second in the 78th minute but it was too late.

Being ill sucks. No matter what’s got you down – the flu, a broken bone, diabetes, cancer – it’s a horrible place to be. Your body is weaker and less capable. The drugs you take mess with your mind and your moods and sometimes can make you feel even worse than when you started. Mental ill-health is no different. The brain is an organ, and like any organ, it doesn’t always function to the medical standard of “normal”. Mine certainly doesn’t.
