Hayes & Yeading United v St Albans City

Blue Square South - Saturday, February 21, 2009 Church Road (Kick off 3pm)

IT'S yet another away day for City on Saturday as they face a trip to Church Road to take on play-off chasing Hayes & Yeading United.

City go there looking for their first win in 12 games and will come face to face with the team that ended their seven game winning streak back in November.

It won't be an easy game for the Saints with manager Steve Castle calling the Hayes attack 'the best in the league' and they'll have to be at their best if they are to bring all three points back to Clarence Park.

l Last Meeting - Will Hendry's goal five minutes from time denied City an eighth straight win the last time as the two sides drew 1-1 when they met back in early November.

l Form - The two clubs have suffered a massive dip in form since they drew 1-1 at Clarence Park in November. City haven't won a game since whilst Hayes & Yeading have only done slightly better picking up two wins in that time.

l Players to Watch - The main threat to the City defence will come from Josh Scott. The hitman has struck 11 times already this season, having netted 13 goals in the last campaign, and having missed the game at Clarence Park through suspension he'll be keen to show City fans what he can do.

United have boosted their attacking options with the signing of former Stevenage Borough winger Dale Binns from Maidenhead United. Binns was a Conference South winner with Lewes last season and has been a virtual ever present for Maidenhead this season before he moved to Church Road.

Former Saint Ram Marwa has been a near ever present for the Church Road outfit and has weighed in with his fair share of goals from midfield, netting seven times already this season.

l Team News - Steve Castle welcome's back Ben Martin and James Fisher after they served their one match suspensions giving him several options at the back. Soloman Shields looks set to continue in midfield after a solid debut at Bishop's Stortford while Simon Martin will be back in contention after missing Saturday's game with a prior commitment.
