Record number of cricket fixtures called-off this year due to poor weather

THIS season has already seen a record number of cricket matches washed out in the county due to the wet weather, despite it only being mid-way through the term.
The Saracens Herts League has had a record 325 games cancelled in 2012, which is 50 more that 2007, which previously was the season with the most called off matches.
On Saturday all Home Counties Premier League matches were cancelled.
Welwyn Garden City and Harpenden had their Division One clash at a soaked Digswell Park off.
