Police have arrested and charged a suspect


POLICE have caught and charged the man believed to be responsible for several meat thefts in St Albans.

Daniel Taylor, of Oakley Road in Whetstone, was charged with four counts of shoplifting, three of which included stealing meat from a Sainsbury’s petrol station in Marshalwick Lane.

The 33 year old is due before Central West Herts Magistrates Court at 9am on Saturday, May 25 this year.
