THE Marvel Universe is at war, and a St Albans comic shop is on the front line!

Top characters the Avengers and the X-Men are going head-to-head for the sake of the entire planet in a new series, and Chaos City Comics in Heritage Place is marking this clash of the titans with a special launch party.

On Tuesday, April 3, from 8-10pm there will be a late-night opening event giving customers the chance to read the Avengers Vs X-Men storyline first. Choose your side, dress as your favourite Marvel character and you could win the fancy dress competition and pick up a mystery prize.

The store will also be serving light refreshments and is hoping that some special guests will be dropping by on the night.

For further information, call Chaos City on 01727 838719.
