Homes in several areas of Harpenden can expect to be without power until this evening.

UK Power Networks were told of a power cut at 2.30pm this afternoon.

This was due to a fault in a high-voltage overhead electricity line.

It is believed 61 customers could be without power until between 4pm and 5pm this evening.

UK Power Networks have apologised for any trouble this may have caused customers.
