Money was stolen from the till during a break-in at a Redbourn garden centre.

The burglary took place at the Hertfordshire Garden Centre in Redding Lane between 4.50am and 5am on Saturday.

One or more intruders broke into the café area by smashing a window and conducted an untidy search. They tried to break into the rest of the garden centre and stole money from the till.

Anyone who saw what happened, or has any information, should call Herts Police on the non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference 41/41288/18.
