Police save woman on top of multi-storey car park in St Albans

A woman was saved from the top of a multi-storey car park in St Albans today.

Emergency services rushed to help a woman, in her 20s, who was on top of the car park in Russell Avenue at about 11.15am.

She has now been detained under the Mental Health Act.

They closed the road and diverted traffic while the incident was taking place.
