Nine lose jobs as contractor closes office

A CONCRETE contractor is to close its London Colney office making around nine people redundant. The John Doyle group is closing administrative services at its subsidiary Bell Projects Ltd, located at Salisbury Hall. John Doyle chairman Stef Stefanou said

A CONCRETE contractor is to close its London Colney office making around nine people redundant.

The John Doyle group is closing administrative services at its subsidiary Bell Projects Ltd, located at Salisbury Hall.

John Doyle chairman Stef Stefanou said: "A further 10 people will be redeployed to our offices in Welwyn Garden City and London."

The firm currently employs around 850 people.

Recently we, as a family (minus two of the kids), visited The Lodge RSPB reserve in Sandy, Bedfordshire. I had never been before, which is perhaps amiss of me as a birdwatcher as it is the headquarters of the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds or RSPB and only 45 minutes drive from home.
