A SUICIDAL man threatened to jump off a multi-storey car park in St Albans last night (Wednesday).

The incident happened in Drovers Way at around 8.30pm and the man was coaxed down from the car park by 9pm.

Police called firefighters to the scene but their services were not required as the man had already been moved to safety.
