Air ambulance lands on Verulamium Park

An air ambulance landed in Verulamium Park in St Albans on Saturday.

East of England Ambulance Service said: “We were called to reports of a male with a lower leg injury in St Albans at 1.12pm on Saturday, October 14.

“The Essex and Herts Air Ambulance and an ambulance attended the scene. The patient was taken to Watford General Hospital for further treatment.”

It is not known if he has been discharged.
