Firecrews rescue children stuck in St Albans station lift

FIREFIGHTERS rescued a group of schoolchildren stuck in a lift at St Albans City train station this morning.

They became trapped just after 8am during rush hour, according to Herts Fire Control.

Crews used a special lift key to free the students, who were released after around 15 minutes.
