An 80-year-old woman is believed to have been critically injured in a collision involving a Tesco delivery vehicle in Jersey Farm shortly before 11am this morning (Monday).

The accident occurred at the junction of Twyford Road and Sandringham Crescent, close to St Brelade’s Place, where the vehicle is thought to have been reversing into a service area.

An air ambulance has just arrived at the scene.
