THERE were plenty of smiles at Roundwood Park School in Harpenden this morning (August, 23) as teenagers celebrated their GCSE exam results.

Headteacher Alan Henshall said: “We have had some fantastic individual success stories for students of all abilities, including the one in three students who gained seven or more A* or A grades to get into our sixth form, and the students who got the grades required to get their college places.

“I would like to congratulate them, their teachers and their parents on these success stories. I would like to wish those students who are leaving us all the very best and look forward to welcoming the others back into our sixth form.”
