Police seized cash, drugs and a handgun from four men in St Albans


A quantity of drugs, cash and a handgun were recovered by police yesterday (Tuesday) evening.

Four men in their twenties were arrested near the station in St Albans by the Metropolitan Police with the assistance of armed police officers and Herts Police.

The arrest comes as part of an intelligence-led operation.

The men remain in custody at a police station in Hertfordshire.

Enquiries continue.
